At BlizzCon 2018, the two voice actors for Wrecking Ball showed off their talent on an Overwatch voice actor panel. Dee Bradley Baker provides the squeaks and Jonathan Lipow provides the translations.
The panel that these actors appeared on consisted of Matt Mercer, the voice of McCree, Jennifer Hale, the voice of Ashe, Keith Silverstein, the voice of Torbjorn, and Matilda Smedius, the voice of Brigitte.
The way that Dee Bradley Baker performs the squeaks is absolutely adorable. Contorting his body to as close to Hammond as he could be, Baker makes the squeaks perfectly every time. It is absolutely amazing watching the famous actor work, making the ridiculous sounds that come from Hammond. The list of credits for Dee Bradley Baker is extensive, ranging from roles in video games like Overwatch to voicing TV roles such as Appa and Momo on The Last Airbender TV series and Perry the Platypus on Phineas and Ferb.
Sitting next to Baker was the newly announced voice actor for Ashe, Jennifer Hale. Ashe is the newest Overwatch hero and is looking to be a great addition to the game. Her playstyle will shake up the meta and provide DPS with new ways to play. For all of the Overwatch BlizzCon announcements, check out this article.
