It’s no secret that the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are busy bees. Whether it be saving the world, the universe, or even their best friend, it goes without saying that our favorite supers don’t have the time to check their horoscope, or, you know, even care about what their star sign is.

That’s okay. As loyal fans, it can be done for them. With only 12 recognized star signs in the Western zodiac but dozens of characters in the MCU, all the signs are well represented by a multitude of characters across the franchise. Read on to find your superhero counterpart!

Aries: Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel)

Fun fact: Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) is actually a Taurus, but she’s on the cusp of Aries too. She is a true Aries by nature - always ready to throw herself into a new challenge. She is also quite literally surrounded by energy flames a lot of the time - it makes sense for her to represent a fire sign.

Just like Captain Marvel, an Aries is courageous, passionate, and confident. On the flip side, Carol can also be hot-tempered and too quick to act, but regardless, her heart is always in the right spot.

Taurus: T’Challa (Black Panther)

Another cusp sign (born on the cusp of Gemini season), T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) definitely still fits the role of Taurus instead. As T’Challa evolves through the MCU movies, he becomes one of the most level-headed, reliable, and stable heroes the universe has. In the world of the MCU, that’s really saying something.

T’Challa is incredibly devoted to both his family and his country, and his stubbornness especially comes through in Civil War. Ultimately, T’Challa is grounded in both the land and in vibranium, making him a Taurus through and through.

Gemini: Tony Stark (Iron Man)

A Gemini by birth, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) fits the role of the Zodiac sign like a glove. Our favorite Iron Manshowcases the sign’s natural adaptability, dynamic nature, passion, and curiosity. The character is smart, charismatic, and thrives on being the center of attention.

On the flip side, he is as dual as the twins that represent Gemini, and often feels lonely, indecisive, and self-effacing. In private, Tony feels the weight of the world on his shoulders. Regardless, all of this combined leads to the incredible heroism that makes up Iron Man.

Cancer: Steve Rogers (Captain America)

Born as a Cancer, Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is the perfect embodiment of the crab sign. If you, too, are a Cancer, you may see yourself in Captain America’s stubbornness, determination, and inability to express emotion.

Above all, we can commend his irreversible devotion to those that he loves. Steve Rogers is with you, until the end of the line, just like a true Cancer. This fierce loyalty combined with the willingness to always fight for what he believes to be right is Steve Rogers in a nutshell.

Leo: Thor

When you think of a true Leo, you think of a loving, laughing individual, larger than life, a true God. Who else in the MCU could it be? Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) booming persona and his endearing personality make him a true Leo - a king, a leader, a God.

Thor holds power in his position, and is always trying to do the right thing in striving to be good and true to not only himself, but those around him. He may be prone to arrogance at times, but this doesn’t matter - the core of who he is shines through.

Virgo: Peter Parker (Spider-Man)

Born on August 27, you may see yourself in the born-Virgo Peter Parker (Tom Holland). As one of the youngest Avengers, he tries to hold onto normalcy in his life, whilst always asking questions that no one else seems to think of.

Like most Virgos, Peter is incredibly family-oriented, selfless, and always ready to be your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Don’t forget the most important Virgo trait - Peter is incredibly hardworking, resilient, and headstrong. The poor boy has been through hell and back, and is still up cracking jokes and giving his cheeky Peter grin.

Libra: James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes (War Machine)

Born on October 6, James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) (affectionately known as Rhodey) has a strong sense of justice that fans can spot from a mile away. He often wants life to play out to his preferences, liking things in order and by protocol - the perfect Libra.

Libras are also very social signs, and love to work as a team. They value their friendships, and one look at Rhodey’s friendship with Tony tells us this.

Scorpio: Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow)

What do Black Widows and scorpions have in common? They’re both deadly - much like Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson). Deadly doesn’t mean evil, however, and we can see this in Natasha’s goodness when it comes to those she loves.

Natasha is brave, loyal, and resourceful - all traits that make her a qualified Scorpio. As a spy, she is also secretive, but will never reveals the secrets of those she loves - another comment on her incredible loyalty.

Sagittarius: Nakia

Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) is the true embodiment of the Sagittarian spirit. Freedom is her main driver, and her need to travel and explore, to see the world and where she can assist it, are key to her personality, making her Sagittarius to her core.

She knows she will not be happy being restricted and restrained by politics. As a fire sign, her passion drives her, and as the archer of the zodiac, she is fierce in her pursuits and in defending those she loves, which is admirable at the very least.

Capricorn: Clint Barton (Hawkeye)

A need for structure and attention to detail are surefire Capricorn traits, as Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) represents. He may seem to be one of the more laid back characters in the MCU, but as time goes on, we see how focused he really is.

Not only is Clint able to balance his life as a SHIELD agent with his personal life as a father, but he has a joint desire to step away from his superhero duties whilst still wanting to help save the world. This conflict of interest on such a high scale is true Capricorn.

Aquarius: Shuri

Shuri (Letitia Wright) isn’t shy, as a lot of Aquarius individuals are, but she is definitely eccentric. As a whole, she’s a brilliant representation of the sign - she is independent, originality, and has a very forward-thinking mentality.

Also like a true Aquarius, Shuri is a genius, inventor, and scientist all in one. Much like those who are born under this air sign, she is always itching for her next project - girl boss defined.

Pisces: Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch)

Often painted as a villain in the MCU, Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) feels things very deeply, much like a Pisces. With grief taking over her emotionally, she may not be able to see her mistakes until it’s much too late.

She can also get in her head about her guilt, dwelling on her emotions and feeling stuck. Regardless, she always manages to break through her emotions and do what is right, as her empathy kicks into overdrive, and she works to rectify her wrongdoings.
