JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Komedian Jarwo Kwat meminta maaf setelah videonya memeluk Catheez alias Catherine Alicia dalam acara sketsa komedi viral di media sosial.
“Kalau misalnya ada yang tersinggung, saya minta maaf,” ujar Jarwo saat dihubungi, Minggu (7/1/2024).
Jarwo mengatakan, adegan yang ia lakukan sudah sesuai dengan cerita di dalam skrip yang diberikan tim kreatif dari acara sketsa tersebut.
Ia juga sudah memastikan bahwa Catheez tak keberatan dengan adegan tersebut.
Pria berusia 56 tahun ini menyayangkan yang viral adalah potongan-potongan video dari adegan sketsa komedi yang dilakoninya dengan Catheez.
“Itu juga informasi dari si Catheez lewat manajernya, lewat kreatif enggak ada masalah kok. 'Itu ceritanya seperti itu pak Jarwo jadi bapak saya jadi anak'. Sebenarnya biasa aja, cuma kan gitu dipotong-potong di TikTok ya itu,” kata Jarwo.
Jarwo mengatakan, tak punya maksud lain, bahkan improvisasi untuk memeluk Catheez.
Ia hanya mengikuti arahan dari tim kreatif acara sketsa tersebut.
"Iya, kita kan sebenarnya menghibur. Itu salah tanggap, salah memahami, repot juga. Ya saya memahami juga lah. Menghibur doang enggak ada maksud lain, sesuai cerita, bukan improvisasi atau apa. Tolong dipahami lah," tutur Jarwo.
