Vicky Nguyen is an eminent American investigative reporter from Vietnam currently working with NBC News in New York. She became part of the NBC News team in April 2019 as their Investigative and Consumer correspondent. Her reporting has been featured on MSNBC, NBC News Now, Nightly News with Lester Holt, The Today Show, as well as 3rd Hour Today.
Before Vicky moved to New York, Nguyen served for NBC Bay Area, KNTV based in the San Francisco Bay Area. While there, She served for the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit as a senior investigative reporter.
Also, She anchored the Sunday evening news on NBC Bay Area. Prior to joining NBC Bay Area, Nguyen at different television stations in Florida, Nevada, and Arizona as well.

Vicky stated her career with Central Florida News 13 in Orlando, Florida. While there, She wrote, shot, and also edited her stories prior to delivering live reports.
Nguyen also wrote on her blog. Vicky was also a one-man band who shot her own video on a 20-pound DVC Pro camera (and) carried her own 15-pound tripod. She then went to join ABC affiliate KOLO based in Reno, Nevada where she became a nightside reporter and fill-in anchor.
After her time in Reno, She moved to Phoenix, Arizona where she worked at KSAZ. While there, Nguyen was able to cover national stories. She did notable interviews with public figures such as Senator John McCain, Shaquille O’Neal, Tyra Banks, and Alex Trebek.
