Turkish Airlines has announced plans to launch service between Miami and Istanbul on Oct. 25, Miami International Airport officals announced recently.

The Miami-to-Istanbul service will operate daily using 337-passenger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

From Miami, the flight to Istanbul is scheduled to depart at 10:30 p.m.daily, while inbound flights from Turkey should arrive at 8:30 p.m.

The Turkish airline’s Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft will offer 28 seats in business class, 63 in premium economy and 246 in economy class, airport officials said.

Istanbul will mark MIA’s 18th European destination when service begins.

“In a year full of exciting developments at MIA, the introduction of new Miami-Istanbul service on Turkish Airlines is at the top of the list,” said Miami-Dade Aviation Director Emilio T. González, in a statment. “MIA is proud to partner with Turkish Airlines and offer our valued customers access to Istanbul through our ever-expanding network of domestic and international destinations.”
