Hurricane debris and garbage pickup schedules for Broward County:

UNINCORPORATED BROWARD COUNTY

Debris will be picked up curbside on regular garbage pickup days.

COCONUT CREEK

Residents are asked to place take tree limbs and debris in a neat pile on the curb. They’ll be picked up beginning today and for the next 30 days.

COOPER CITY

Debris pickup schedule was undetermined Tuesday.

CORAL SPRINGS

The city’s garbage contractor has begun debris pickup. Residents should put hurricane-related yard debris curbside. Any branches should be cut into pieces no longer than 10 feet.

DANIA BEACH

Regularly scheduled trash pickup is today and crews will pick up tree debris throughout the week.

DAVIE

Debris pickup will begin Tuesday, Sept. 14.

DEERFIELD BEACH

Debris pickup is under way. Residents should put yard debris curbside.

FORT LAUDERDALE

For garbage, recycling and yard waste, the city has resumed a normal schedule. For bulk trash and hurricane debris, residents scheduled for regular bulk trash pickup through Sept. 17 should separate waste into two piles, one for trash and the other for post-hurricane yard debris like branches, leaves and limbs. Residents not scheduled for bulk trash pickup before Sept. 17 should put out only hurricane yard waste, and it will be picked up.

HALLANDALE BEACH

The city’s garbage contractor has begun debris pickup. Residents should put yard debris curbside.

HILLSBORO BEACH

Tree pickup begins immediately. Put debris in the rights-of-way and it will be collected today.

HOLLYWOOD

Crews will be picking up tree debris and garbage Thursday and Friday, but only from the front of houses, not the alleys.

LAUDERDALE-BY-THE-SEA

Debris pickup is under way.

LAUDERDALE LAKES

Waste Management will pick up debris if it is properly bundled and tied and placed on the curb during regular trash pickup. Debris will be removed from the curbside on normal pickup days.

LAUDERHILL

Bulk pickup for hurricane debris will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

LIGHTHOUSE POINT

Tree debris pickup has begun. Collection will be from the city rights-of-way.

MARGATE

Debris pickup begins today. Residents should separate the different types of debris for collection curbside. Regular garbage will be picked up on normal days.

MIRAMAR

Debris will be picked up on the curbside during regular bulk pickup days.

NORTH LAUDERDALE

Hurricane debris collection will be conducted Thursday and Friday, and residents are asked to keep the hurricane debris clearly separated from regular household waste.

OAKLAND PARK

Citywide debris pickup begins today.

PARKLAND

City officials are in the process of hiring a contractor for bulk pickup. They will make an announcement when a schedule has been determined.

PEMBROKE PINES

The city requests that residents prepare landscape debris as usual, such as cutting it into 5-foot lengths and tying it into bundles or putting it in bags, which should then be placed out with garbage during normal twice-weekly collection days, according to Rose Colombo, administrative supervisor of the Public Services Department. If residents can’t do this, they should drag debris onto their swales for collection. Refuse crews won’t go on private property.

PLANTATION

City crews will pick up vegetative debris curbside, so long as it is from trees planted on public property. Other vegetative debris can be brought to the city’s Public Works complex on Cleary Boulevard west of University Drive.

POMPANO BEACH

Storm debris will be picked up in the swales beginning today.

SEA RANCH LAKES

Regularly scheduled trash pickup today, and crews will pick up tree debris throughout the week.

SOUTHWEST RANCHES

Debris pickup schedule is undetermined. Residents are asked to bundle their debris and leave it on the curbside.

SUNRISE

City workers will pick up hurricane debris only from Thursday to Saturday.

TAMARAC

Residents should put all debris on the swales by Friday. City officials request all vegetative debris be chopped to 5 feet in length or smaller.

WESTON

Debris pickup schedule remained undetermined Tuesday.

WILTON MANORS

Regular bulk pickup resumed Tuesday and will continue today on regular pick-up schedules.
