By definition, grunge style is the exact opposite of formal wear. The whole point of grunge is to look intentionally untidy and unkempt to effortlessly replicate the cool look of famous punk and rock musicians like Billie Joe Armstrong and Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain. Fans of the game have already made plans to create their characters based on the iconic singers after the release of the latest kit.

In the Grunge Revival kit, players can experience the enjoyment of mixing and matching old-school tops and pants in the Create-A-Sim mode. Don a pair of graffitied jeans, baggy hoodies with short ripped jeans, layered dress, a loose shirt and pair them with the classic Vans chequered sneakers.
On their official website, The Sims 4 also mentioned that the grunge-inspired style is nonconforrming. This means that there is a possibility that the kit is inclusive and any gender can wear the cute above-knee dress and faded shorts to express themselves. Personally, I am excited to pair these apparel with the piercings from Discover University pack to create a manic-pixie dream girl Sim that frequently thrifts at ThrifTea in High School Years’ Copperdale.
The Sims will also be launching a Book Nook kit for Simmers who prefer to build the perfect modern home with their own built-in library. Comfy furniture like cosy window seating, stackable bookshelves and cushy sofas adorned with relaxing accents for your Sims to chill and read will be made available in the kit. The kits will be available on Steam on June 1 (tomorrow), so be sure to check them out.
