Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been providing my students with tangible materials such as adaptable work binders, work pages, task boxes, and an interactive alphabets to help with attention and retention. We, as a classroom, continue to learn and adapt to new situations which we will have to apply during this school year. With that being said I will need to continue to provide my students with ongoing tangible materials to continue to be safe yet still learn and have fun.

In order to provide a safe and effective way of teaching, my students need more tangible items for in-school and at times at-home learning.

I want to continue to provide more adaptable work pages, task boxes, and more interactive alphabet posters. With the necessary materials like the more ink, and laminating pouches I will be able to continue to do so. My special education students have benefited from the current tangible materials provided but need more as their skill level has improved. While in school we go over and introduce new materials and to further help them they need additional material to have at home to review the content covered at school. My students benefit from having laminated pages with letters, numbers, shapes, and tracing to follow with my teacher at home. While watching me pull a shape or any other object they will be able to also review and do the same from their own materials at home. I provide recorded content for my students to work at home using all these materials that way they still see their teacher at home and use the same materials. I want to be able to continue to support my students in any way that I can it ensures my students have the necessary materials they need.
