The Schoolhouse Children’s Museum in Boynton Beach is back in action with an ongoing slate of classes, exhibits and activities for fall.
Children ages 2 to second grade can learn their ABCs, 123s, art, dance, science and exercise, among other topics, in the historic 1913 schoolhouse at 129 E. Ocean Blvd. as well as virtually.
The museum, which is preparing to celebrate its 20th year, is limiting classes to 10 children so advance registration is recommended. For the six-week series, the cost is $48 for members and $60 with paid admission for non-members. To drop in for a class, the cost is $10 for members and $12 for non-members with paid admission.
COVID-19 safety precautions in place include temperature checks, masks (age 2 and older), social distancing and one adult per family group.
Classes are underway for ages 2 to 5 featuring storytime, dance and tumbling programs while ages 3 to 5 are learning about art, science, animals and preschool/kindergarten readiness. All ages can take part in yoga.
