Women’s group seeks vendors for Fall Festival
Vendors are needed for the Fall Festival sponsored by the Women’s Association of Sunset Presbyterian Church, 3550 W. Davie Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. The festivities have been scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 5. Outside space with your own table is $10 and inside space with one table is $15.

Make reservations now for Grand Charity Ball
The Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes/West Sunrise is accepting reservations for their fourth annual Grand Charity Ball. Special guest speaker will be South Florida attorney Willie E. Gary.
In addition, international supermodel and actress Tyra Banks will be honored at the ball for her work with underprivileged female teens. The city’s Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a Visual Arts Competition for students in K-12. Winning pieces will be displayed at the Art in the Park festival Oct. 26 and 27 and then in Central Park for one year. Prizes will be awarded. Call 954-452-2510.
