Rocco’s Taco’s property sold for $5 million

The property housing one of downtown Fort Lauderdale’s most popular restaurants has sold for $5 million.

1313 East Las Olas Blvd LLC, a partner of Big Time Restaurant Group (which owns Rocco’s Tacos), bought the Rocco’s Taco’s building and land from Fort Lauderdale-based Lucky 13 Investments LLC.

The property previously sold in 2000 for $1.6 million.

Rocco’s Tacos building occupies 6,190 square feet of space on a 16,500-square-foot lot.

Rocco’s Tacos opened at 1313 E. Las Olas Blvd. in 2011 and has since become a favorite spot among locals and tourists, packed daily for lunch and dinner. It serves more than 400 different tequilas, offers guacamole prepared table side, tacos, quesadillas and other Mexican cuisine.
