Hopoo Games and Gearbox Publishing announced the Risk of Rain 2 Anniversary update arrived on console.
Players cann now try to reach an ending not only on PC but on console as well.
Risk of Rain 2 Anniversary Update Arrives on Console
The update is now available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Xbox Series X and S as well as PlayStation 5 owners can play the update via their system’s native backward compatibility. Players on the Nintendo Switch can expect the update soon.
This new update includes the renowned character from the first iteration of the series, the Bandit.
To go along with the Bandit, there are also several other new content additions. A new boss has been added, the Grandparent.
There are also a new character and stage updates: more skill variants are giving to all of the playable characters totaling at three variant skills. Additionally, gameplay enhancements for Command, MUL-T, REX, Captain, Loader, and Mercenary have been added as well.
Items can now be stacked to go alongside the arsenal of over 115 items.
The Logbook also received an update, allowing players to browse their past runs, lifetime stats - like favorite survivors, progress to completion, and favorite equipment.
Lastly, quality of life improvements were made, new times, new challenges, bug fixes, performance optimizations, improved AI pathing and much more were all implemented in the new patch.
