Pokemon Sword and Shield fossil combinations are new to the Pokemon franchise. Before Pokemon Sword and Shield, extinct Pokemon could be revived into their previous form. This year's game includes exploring for more than one fossil in order to combine them in order to create one of four different pre-historic Pokemon. Here is every fossil combination and every Pokemon formed from them.
Pokemon Sword and Shield Fossil Combinations
There are four fossils in Pokemon Sword and shield, though two are exclusive to each game. Depending on the game you're playing, the available fossils change. In Pokemon Sword you can obtain fossilized Dino and Bird. In Pokemon Shield you can obtainfossilized Drake and Fish. In order to get a Pokemon from the fossils you have collected, you're going to need to hand over two of them at a time to Cara Lisa on Route 6. Below is a full list of fossil combinations.
- Fossilized Bird and Fossilized Dino makes an Arctozolt
- Fossilized Bird and Fossilized Fish makes an Arctovish
- Fossilized Drake and Fossilized Dino makes a Dracozolt
- Fossilized Drake and Fossilized Fish makes a Dracovish
