Palm Beach 8A-6A football offense first team, second team, honorable mention, coach of the year

FIRST TEAM

Emonte Brown, Jupiter junior running back: Brown excelled for the Warriors this year, notching close to 1,200 rushing yards with 14 touchdowns. He added a touchdown on kickoff returns, as well.

Sebastien Christian, Seminole Ridge junior running back: Rushed for 1,185 yards and 14 touchdowns on 177 carries.

Jordan Clemons, Park Vista junior running back: Clemons was Park Vista’s top running back, rushing for 685 yards and 10 touchdowns on 73 carries.

Jaidyn Hodgson, Palm Beach Central junior offensive lineman: Hodgson helped anchor the offensive line for a prolific Palm Beach Central offense that put up about 36 points per game.

Markel King, Palm Beach Central senior running back: King was the Broncos’ leading rusher, carrying the ball 65 times for 1,067 yards and scoring seven touchdowns. He was also a strong pass-catcher, making 28 receptions for 636 yards and six scores. King was named Palm Beach County Player of the Year by the Palm Beach Sports Commission.

Reece Larson, Wellington senior wide receiver: Larson was a solid wide receiver on a Wolverines team that frequently ran the ball, making 25 catches for 450 yards and eight touchdowns. Larson also added 550 return yards and three return touchdowns.

Omari Mitchell, Atlantic senior running back: Mitchell was part of the Eagles’ dominant running game, racking up 1,252 yards and 10 scores this season.

Dezmond Penn, Atlantic senior offensive lineman: Penn was a strong center for Atlantic, notching 63 pancake blocks and paving the way for the Eagles’ running game.

Trey Rainey, Boca Raton senior running back: Rainey had a dominant season out of the backfield for the Bobcats, racking up 1,291 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had 177 receiving yards on 13 catches.

Corey Reddick, Atlantic senior running back: Reddick was Atlantic’s second 1,000-yard rusher, putting up 1,026 yards and 12 scores this season. Reddick is a Navy commit.

Will Rimes, Seminole Ridge senior quarterback: Rimes mixed limited passing with excellent rushing from the quarterback position. He had 509 passing yards with three touchdowns, but he also racked up 695 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.

Javorian Wimberly, Palm Beach Central junior wide receiver: Wimberly was the leading receiver in the Broncos’ prolific offense, making 49 catches for 987 yards and 10 touchdowns.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Scottie Littles, Palm Beach Central: Littles led the Broncos to one of the most successful seasons in program history. Palm Beach Central went undefeated in the regular season, outscoring Palm Beach County opponents 325-124. After clinching a district title, the Broncos earned the top seed in their region and won a pair of playoff games before falling to Port St. Lucie Treasure Coast in the regional finals.
