In Link’s Awakening, you’ll use Magic Powder for a lot of things. It’s a good weapon against enemies, and you can also use it to light braziers and solve puzzles. The only problem is you can only carry 20 uses (doses? fistfuls?) of it at once.
Below, we’ll show you how to double that.
Find Li’l Devil in Mysterious Forest
After Bottle Grotto, head back into the Mysterious Forest. You’re looking for the area where you picked up the Toadstool on your way to Tail Cave. (You can use the map above to guide you).
Look for a stone in the upper right corner of the area. You need to pick up that stone — which is why you can only do this after completing Bottle Grotto. Lift it, and a set of stairs will appear.
Head down the stairs to the room below. Use some Magic Powder to light the brazier in the middle of the platform.
The bat-like (Keese-like) Li’l Devil will appear and take his revenge on you … by forcing you to carry twice as much Magic Powder.
