Jay Randolph is an American sportscaster and an accomplished golfer who has served for more than fifty years. He considered turning pro after attending college on a golf scholarship and was a member of the Boys & Girls Club.
As a young man, Jay as an amateur golfer enjoyed considerable success. He was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 1978 and played on the Golf Team at George Washington University. In 1958, He began his broadcasting career at Clarksburg radio station as an announcer and sports director.

Jay served at KSDK (Channel 5) as a sports anchor for the station’s newscasts and called TV play-by-play for St. Louis Cardinals baseball. He served for 21 seasons, split over two stints as the over-the-air TV voice of the Cardinals.
