The Flood is a great new weapon in Borderlands 3, Gearbox Software's latest installment in their dystopian first person RPG. Here's everything you need to know in order to obtain and use this excellent new pistol.
The Flood Borderlands 3: How to Get the Pistol
The Flood can only be obtained via a random world drop, meaning that any way of obtaining weapons at random, like chests, slot machines, or from killing enemies, can produce a dropped Flood. Although, its drop rate is incredibly low, so there are a few specific methods that can help you obtain a flood much quicker.
In order to increase your chances of obtaining rare drops like the Flood, it's best to farm high level enemies that are coded to drop excellent rare rewards. The Graveward and Chupacabratches are probably the best enemies to do this with. To kill the Graveward quickly, decimate it with the Porcelain Pipe Bomb Grenade.
Chupacrabratches can be defeated pretty quickly with any weapon that provides heavy damage quickly, and so it's best to just keep killing them and reloading your game until one drops a Flood.
