CC means cubic centimeters and is attributed to the size of the engine. In game terms, higher CC just means faster and more difficult races. You CPU opponents will also be more challenging to race against. The advantage is that higher CC will give you more points, and will make it easier for you to score five stars in harder races.
You can choose from 50cc, 100cc and 150cc. There is also a 200cc, but you can only access the fastest race mode with the Gold Pass. The Gold Pass can only be obtained with real money, costing $5 a month on a subscription.

The Gold Pass will also get you bonus rewards for weekly Tours and special badges to earn from challenges. You can also get a two week free trial, but once that trial is over your credit card will be charged.
