Breast Cancer Awareness Month is sending a flurry of pink throughout the country, including your lovely locks.
Through the month of October, dozens of salons will put in a pink hair extension for a $20 donation to Gilda’s Club South Florida. The nonprofit is a vital resource for support groups, education and fundraising for not just breast cancer survivors, but all cancer survivors and their friends and family.
Our very own Coconut Creek/Margate reporter, Alyssa Cutter, went to the salon today and will be writing about the program and the experience in week’s paper.
