David Urban is an American lobbyist and political operative currently working as an Executive Vice President for North American corporate affairs at ByteDance and a political commentator for CNN. Before, he worked as a senior advisor to the 2016 Donald Trump presidential campaign.

In May 2018, President Trump appointed David to the board of the American Battle Monuments Commission. In July 2018, Trump later promoted him to Chairman of ABMC. He advised Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign in 2020. In August 2019, David was appointed by Trump to the United States Military Academy Board of Visitors.
