Cyberpunk 2077 has another patch in the works—Hotfix 1.07—meant to fix even more problems players have been encountering.

Despite Cyberpunk 2077's underwhelming release by CD Projekt Red (CDPR), the company has officially released their impressive total sales—amounting to over $13 million. Customers, of course, weren't thrilled with the state the most hyped title of the year was launched in. Hundreds attempted to get full refunds, prompting the team to address the issues and commit themselves to fixing them.

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.07 Release Date: When is it?

Hotfix 1.07 will likely be released later this month, Jan. 2021, according to recent estimates.

In their letter released on Dec. 14, 2020 via Twitter to customers, CDPR detailed the plans moving forward. They explained that they plan to release two major patches in the new year: in January and February, respectively. The team would be breaking for the holidays and return to work likely after New Year's Day. Now, with 2020 in the rearview, it's possible that players will be getting their update in the new few weeks.

Astute players and CDPR fans have detailed anytime in mid to late January, possibly by the end of this week. The company has a history of releasing its major patches on Fridays. Therefore, Hotfix 1.07 has the highest chance of release on Jan. 8, 15, 22, or 29. Most are betting on the middle two, as this Friday may be too short of a timespan to put out a full patch and the last Friday would likely irritate those still waiting.

As for its content, Cyberpunk 2077 fans can expect more stability improvements, fixes to minor glitches or areas, and even securing textures.
