Trade group Cruise Lines International Association has opened registration for its 13th annual Cruise360 conference, which will return to Fort Lauderdale next year.

Billed as a “must-attend” event for travel agents, the conference is set for April 18-24 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Blvd.

The cruise industry event typically attracts travel professionals, representatives from cruise lines, ports and destinations, industry suppliers as well as CLIA preferred executive partners. It will include CLIA training and professional development seminars, general sessions, cruise ship inspections and a trade show with more than 300 exhibiting companies.

When it was last organized in Fort Lauderdale in April 2015, Cruise360 had a sold-out registration of about 1,300 travel agents from the United States and Canada, according to CLIA.

This year’s Cruise360 conference in Vancouver had the highest attendee satisfaction ratings in five years, the trade group noted.

“We have a chance to build on this success with our partners in Fort Lauderdale as we plan for 2017,” said Cindy D’Aoust, CLIA president and CEO, in a statement. “Travel professionals can expect enhanced education, expanded ship inspections and interactive workshops all delivered in an entertaining format.”

Early bird registration costs $149 for CLIA members and $279 for non-members and ends Sept. 19. For information, visit Cruise360.org.
