One man has been hospitalized after three cars crashed in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Oakland Park Friday afternoon.
Shannon Vezina, spokesperson for the City of Oakland Park, said the crash happened about 1 p.m. just south of Cypress Creek Road.
One of the three cars rolled over, and the adult man inside was ejected and transported to Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Vezina did not immediately know how many people were involved but said the adult man was the only patient who needed to be taken to the hospital.
One southbound lane of I-95 in the area between Cypress Creek Road and Commercial Boulevard remained closed as of about 3 p.m., Vezina said.
Additional information was not immediately available.
