Classic MW2 Map Highrise Leaked for Modern Warfare

Prominent dataminer ModernWarzone has discovered another classic map returning for Modern Warfare 2019: Highrise.

The fan favorite map appeared first in Modern Warfare 2, and then only once again in the Chinese exclusive Call of Duty Online. The map is set on an almost-complete skyscraper nestled between two office buildings. With distinct battlefields across multiple elevation tiers, the map offers areas that allow for all sorts of play styles. For most of us, this will be our first chance to play on Highrise in over 10 years.

Classic MW2 Map High Rise Leaked for Modern Warfare

ModernWarzone has a reliable record of previous leaks, though they do not list a source for the Highrise leak. They also did not disclose a release date, which leads us to believe that the map's name was found in the game but won't be ready for release quite yet.

Infinity Ward has already implemented Rust, another classic MW2 map in Modern Warfare 2019. Rather than making the entire MW2 multiplayer to go along with MW2 Campaign Remastered, they seem to have opted to trickle in the classic maps.

There's already a ton of ways to play Modern Warfare 2019, from the base game's multiplayer to Warzone. Adding in the best of classic Call of Duty maps over time will make sure multiplayer is always as fun as it can be, without getting bogged down by the bad maps.
