- She was responsible for managing day-to-day media schedule & responding to national and state journalists. In 2008, she went on to work as a press secretary for Huckabee’s Presidential campaign.
- In the 2012 Presidential campaign, Alice worked as press secretary for Michele Bachmann. After his campaign ended, she was hired by Rick Santorum as his national press secretary and then worked as a surrogate for Mitt Romney.
- In 2015, Stewart was announced to be joining Huckabee’s Presidential campaign as the communication director though she left in December.
- In January 2016, it was reported that Alice Stewart would be joining Ted Cruz’s Presidential campaign where she would serve as the senior advisor and national spokeswoman.
- In February 2016, she was promoted to Ted’s Communications Director after the former spokesperson Rick W. Tyler resigned from the post. She ended her work with Cruz, after his campaign run ended in June 2016.
