Before she joined CBS Sports she served at WABC-TV, an ABC affiliate in New York as a news reporter. She officially began working at the station in September 2014 and mainly covered breaking news. She reported the station’s 12 p.m, 4 p.m, 5 p.m, 6 p.m, and 11 p.m newscasts. However, she left in December 2018, after serving at the network for four years and four months.
Ross began her journalism career in Connecticut in January 2006, when she was employed at ESPN as a production assistant. However, she left two years and moved to South Carolina where she was employed at WMBF as a news anchor and reporter. While there, for nearly three years she edited produced, and reported the evening news show.
She left the station in November 2010 and relocated to Ohio. In Ohio, he was employed at WSYX-TV as a News anchor and reporter, where she worked for weekend evening shows as the morning fill-in anchor and fill-in solo main anchor.
