"Crowd Control" is a concept that has been around in games from a very early stage. It comes in various forms, but ultimately the main goal of CC is to screw up your opponents one way or another.

Overwatch is starting to dabble with different types of CC; already having the classic stun, disables, etc., and they're starting to add more and more.

Here are some different forms of crowd control I'd personally like to see added to Overwatch

5. Fear/Panic

Losing control of your character may seem like a scary idea at first, but put yourself in your opponent's shoes; you'll probably have a blast.

Being able to fear your enemies can lead to some pretty hilarious scenarios, maybe having an entire enemy team walk off a cliff. But it can also lead to some pretty insane setups. Fearing the enemy Genji into a Graviton Surge -- man, that'd be somethin' else.

4. Confined Area

Take your opponent, and now trap them inside of a box, arena, some sort of space where they can't escape -- that's a confined area.

The ability to trap heroes inside of a space while you're able to focus the rest of their team can lead to some interesting dynamics. Just make sure you don't trap your teammates in there with them!

Personally, I would get great pleasure in trapping every single Genji player I see. Oh, you ulted? Sorry, I didn't see it when you were stuck in there.

3. Grappling/Grabbing

Sort of like the previous, "grappling," also known as grabbing, entails picking up a player and taking them with you while they're unable to do anything.

Imaging running into the enemy team, grabbing an enemy carry, and dumping them off into yours.

Maybe at the same time, this hero would be able to throw teammates as well. That'd also be pretty cool to see, throwing my Genji off the ledge.

2. Blind

Losing your sight, or having your screen blurred out/blocked would shake things up even more.

When Ana was first announced, I felt like she would be equipped with something like this; I guess the Sleep Dart wasn't bad either. But being able to throw out a blinding shot, completely obscuring, or mostly, someone's vision while they're still able to run around, I think it's almost a necessity at this point.

Genji, did you lose your vision while ulting? Man, what a bummer.

1. Mind Control

Sort of like a big mixture of all of these, Mind Control is possibly the most annoying thing to ever grace online video games.

First you lose control of your character, all the while the person who did that to you now has control over your character, and then bad things probably happen to, well, you.

I think controlling enemy players would be pretty, no, very entertaining to watch, especially at a higher level of play. Imagine all the different possible ways I can eliminate Genji. Nice.

Crowd control is definitely something that defines a character. Typically being the strongest ability in their kit, it usually has to be something good.

Surely Blizzard will be adding more to the game, but hopefully they'll add a few of these in there.

And to all of you Genji mains out there, I love you -- I mean, I'll love doing these to you.
