With Season 10 having just come to an end, the next big question is when does League of Legends Season 11 start?

The end of a League of Legends season is always exciting as players compete to reach the highest rank they possibly can before the cut off date. Season 10 ended on Nov. 9 so any player who reached rank Gold IV or higher will receive the Victorious Lucian skin in a few weeks.

When Does League of Legends Season 11 Start?

League of Legends Season 11 does not have an exact start date yet, but based on the past timelines from the end of one season and the beginning of the next, it should be sometime in early January. Riot Games typically gives pre-season about two months to introduce major updates and the inevitable issues that accompany them.

During the two month pre-season, players will be able to adapt to the new changes being rolled out. An entirely new set of items is being introduced along with a new item shop. These are updates that would make playing ranked difficult, as learning it all on the fly would surely affect your gameplay.

So take advantage of the pre-season and learn all you can about the new items so when Season 11 starts you'll be ready to dominate the ranked ladder.
