Trump Banning Fortnite: Did Trump Ban Fortnite?

This situation is because of the involvement of the Chinese company Tencent which owns Riot Games and who also has a 40% stakehold in Epic Games. To make matters even more bizarre, Tencent has been growing quickly recently and buying stakeholds in Western companies like Activision and Ubisoft.

Both Epic and Riot Games have received letters from the Committee of Foreign Investment in regards to how they handle the data of their American users, but neither company has released a statement. This could not come at a worse time, as Epic is still battling Apple over its removal from the app store. For right now, President Trump's ban of League of Legends and Fortnite is on hold, but we can be sure that there will be more information surely to come soon.
