A controversial ban of a young Brazilian streamer has prominent members of the Fortnite community speaking out against the harsh decision by Epic Games.
Zenon, a streamer from Brazil, joined an Arena Ranked mode and had his account promptly banned for about four years, until he turns 13. Zenon broke into tears on camera, comforted by his father who was supervising him.
Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has spoken out against the unusually harsh ban for Zenon.
Unless Arenas start offering money for placements there is no reason for #FreeZenon to be banned from them until he turns 13. That being said the age requirement to compete in Fortnite is 13 and he is 9. He shouldn’t be banned from any other aspect of Fortnite 100% @FortniteGame

Ninja Fortnite Ban: Streamer Speaks Out Against Zenon's Ban
Ninja disagrees with Epic Games' decision, saying that Zenon should not be banned from other aspects of Fortnite for just violating the competitive rules. As Ninja says, Arena placement matches offer no money, so there is no reason to ban Zenon over just entering the mode.
That is just his opinion of the situation, as Ninja admits Zenon did break the rules for the age requirement and something has to be done for that. The minimum age to compete in Fortnite is 13, with the need for parental consent until 18.
Ninja suggests that Zenon shouldn't have had his account banned outright, and instead should have just been barred from accessing competitive modes.
The overly harsh decision to ban a child has members of the community around the world rallying together to free Zenon. It's unlikely for Epic to reverse this decision and they have not officially acknowledged the situation.
