For the second day in a row on Friday, a robber with just a baseball cap as a disguise struck a bank in Coral Springs, according to the FBI.

The robber held up the bank shortly after 7 p.m. at TD Bank at 4697 N. State Road 7. While customers were in the bank, the robber demanded money from a bank employee and took off with an undisclosed amount, authorities said.

No one was injured.

Investigators suspect the robber was the same person who held up a BB&T branch at 4695 N. University Drive about 1:20 p.m. Thursday.

The perpetrator appears to have worn the same University of Miami cap with a decal or sticker on its brim during both robberies.

On Friday, the robber wore a plain white T-shirt and jeans and came into the bank carrying a gray box.

Authorities urge anyone with information about the robber or incident to call the FBI at 754-203-2000 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
