Resident Evil Village players have uncovered a trick to get infinite ammo in-game.
This can be particularly handy in games like Resident Evil where the gameplay is half running from the terrifying monsters trying to kill you and half funneling firepower at their faces to kill them. There's nothing worse than accidentally running out of ammo mid-combat and having to get up-close and personal with some of the fiercest villains Village has to offer.
Well, for some players, anyway.

Resident Evil Village Infinite Ammo
To get infinite ammo, players will need to have already completed the game at least once. The difficulty isn't important so long as they've reached the end and lived to tell about it. Their chosen weapon must be fully upgraded and modified with all available custom parts.
After completing a run, players will be awarded Challenge Points (CP) for every challenge that completed during that session. CP functions as a specific endgame currency. It can be used in the Extra Content Menu—which only appears after the player completes the game. The Extra Content Menu features several perks and abilities that can be purchased with CP and unlocked for future runs.
As you may have guessed, one of these perks is Infinite Ammo. However, it isn't quite as simple as purchasing the ability and being set indefinitely. Each weapon has its own separate Infinite Ammo perk—meaning players may have to complete several additional runs to unlock them all.
Altogether, unlocking Infinite Ammo for everyone weapon in Resident Evil Village will cost players 865,000 CP.
