Pokemon GO Psychic Spectacular Research Explained

We've put together a full list of all the tasks and rewards that are included in the Season of Mischief's Psychic Spectacular event in Pokemon GO.

This event will run from Wednesday, Sept. 8 through to Monday, Sept 13. During this time, trainers will be able to complete a special research line that will reward them with one guaranteed encounter with the featured Pokemon, Inkay.

Pokemon GO Psychic Spectacular Research Explained

There are five stages to the special research of the Psychic Spectacular. Each one rewards an encounter with a rare psychic-type Pokemon once completed. For trainer convenience, we've split the entire line into its stages.

Stage One

• Catch 10 Psychic-type Pokemon—500 EXP
• Transfer 10 Pokémon—10 PokeBalls
• Spin One (1) PokéStop or a Gym—500 Stardust

The final rewards for this stage are 500 EXP, 10 Razz Berries, and an encounter with Abra.

Stage Two

• Catch 20 Pokemon—Five (5) Pinap Berries
• Make Five (5) Great Throws—One (1) Fast TM
• Powerup a Pokemon Five (5) Times—10 Ultra Balls

The final rewards for this stage include 500 EXP, 10 Great Balls, and an encounter with Ralts.

Stage Three

• Evolve Two (2) Psychic-type Pokemon—Encounter with Solosis
• Hatch an Egg—Encounter with Bronzor
• Earn One (1) Candy with Your Buddy Pokemon—1000 Stardust

The ending rewards for this stage are 500 EXP, Five (5) Revive items, and an encounter with Girafarig.

Stage Four

• Send Five (5) Gifts to a Friend—One (1) Charged TM
• Battle in the GO Battle League Twice—Encounter with Meditite
• Use 15 Berries to Catch Pokemon—Encounter with Xatu

Stage Five

• Battle in One (1) Raid—Five (5) Hyper Potions
  
• Make 5 Nice Curveball Throws—Encounter with Baltoy
  
• Use an Incense item—One (1) Lure Module

The last set of rewards for this stage and the research as a whole are 1000 EXP, 1000 Stardust, and an encounter with the featured Pokemon, Inkay.
