Paul Azinger after Johnny Miller retired in October 2018 joined NBC Sports. Paul also occasionally appears as a golf analyst at FOX Sports at the U.S. Women’s Open and U.S. Open. Before joining NBC Sports, Paul Azinger served at ABC Sports and ESPN as a lead analyst.

He started his career at the age of 5 years. Between 1987 and 1993, Paul Azinger in seven seasons on the PGA Tour had won eleven tournaments. His best game was against Greg Norman in 1993 when Paul won the 1993 PGA Championship. Paul also participated at Muirfield in the 1987 Open Championship where Azinger left Muirfield without the Claret Jug trophy and was one shot behind Nick Faldo with the 71st and 72nd holes.
However, in December 1993, Paul was diagnosed with his right shoulder with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He underwent treatment that included five weeks of radiation in California and six months of chemotherapy. Moreover, Paul in Hawaii at the Sony Open won the 2000 tournament in seven seasons. In addition, Azinger in Louisville at Valhalla Golf Club became the 2008 captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup where he led the European squad in 1999 the team to its first victory.
