* Lake Ida Road from 1300 east of Barwick Road, between Sunflower Avenue and Northwest 37th Avenue, Delray Beach. The roadway will be closed to all traffic until 6 p.m. Monday to repair a sinkhole. Traffic will be detoured via Chatelaine subdivision eastbound and Northwest 37th Avenue westbound.

* Boynton Beach Boulevard from Florida’s Turnpike to Military Trail, west of Boynton Beach.

The westbound left lane will be closed periodically for landscaping and installation.

* Federal Highway (U.S. 1), Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. Traffic remains restricted to one lane in each direction at the bridge over the Boynton Canal at all times through February. A lane will be closed in each direction along Federal Highway from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. At the same time, a lane will be closed on Boynton Beach Boulevard, from Federal Highway west to Northwest Fourth Street. Improvements include repaving this 4.5-mile section, replacing the bridge over Boynton Canal, sidewalks and adjoining brick pavers and closing more than 50 median openings. The $7.1 million project is expected to be completed next summer.

* Military Trail from Clint Moore Road to West Atlantic Avenue, in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. The right lane will be closed in both directions between Linton Boulevard and Clint Moore Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. There will be traffic delays. Use Congress Avenue or Jog Road as alternate routes. A six-lane divided highway is being built to replace the existing four-lane road.

* Lyons Road from Broward County line to Palmetto Park Road, west of Boca Raton. The left lane will continue to be closed in both directions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this week for the installation of median curbing, and periodic lane closures can be expected at Southwest 18th Street for intersection improvements.

* I-95 between Hypoluxo Road and Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach. A lane will be closed in both directions between Southern and Forest Hill boulevards between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. tonight through Tuesday night for repaving work. Transportation workers have been repaving a seven-mile section from Hypoluxo Road to Southern Boulevard. Outside lanes are also being added to connect Lantana-Hypoluxo and Forest Hill-Southern. Sound walls are also being added in these two sections. The $12.2 million project is scheduled to continue until early 1999.

* Summit Boulevard at Interstate 95, West Palm Beach. The right lane in each direction will be closed through Jan. 14 as the Florida Department of Transportation begins work under the I-95 bridge.

* Federal Highway from Dixie Highway to Fifth Avenue North, Lake Worth. Federal Highway remains open to local traffic only from Third Avenue North south to Dixie. Improvements include rebuilding Federal Highway and adding drainage, decorative lighting and sidewalks. On Lake and Lucerne, from Federal to M Street, brick sidewalks and landscaping will be added. The $12.2 million project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 1998.

* Lake and Lucerne avenues to Lake Worth Road from west of I-95 to M Street in Lake Worth. Lake Avenue remains one-way east from Avenue B to Avenue M, and Lucerne is one-way westbound. Improvements include a traffic separator on Lake Worth Road, drainage, repaving, landscaping and brick pavers. The $2.8 million project is expected to be completed in late December.

* South Shore Boulevard from Greenview Shores Boulevard to Big Blue Trace, Wellington. Traffic has been switched to the new four-lane divided roadway.

Delays or periodic lane closures can be expected at these locations:

* Jog Road from Clint Moore Road to Linton Boulevard west of Delray Beach.

* Palmetto Circle North and Powerline Road, Boca Raton.

* Lyons Road and Southwest 18th Street, west of Boca Raton.

* Gateway Boulevard from Military Trail to Congress Avenue, Boynton Beach.

* Westgate Avenue from Military Trail to Congress Avenue, West Palm Beach.

* Community Drive from Military Trail to Village Boulevard, West Palm Beach.

* Forest Hill Boulevard intersection at Southern Boulevard, Wellington and Royal Palm Beach.

* Folsom Road/Crestwood Boulevard from South Boulevard to Okeechobee Boulevard, Wellington and Royal Palm Beach.

* Lantana Road and State Road 7, west of Lantana. There will be lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for intersection improvements and construction of a new bridge.

* Military Trail from Forest Hill Boulevard south to Lake Worth Road, Greenacres. A lane will be closed in both directions at all times from Forest Hill to Lake Worth Road. The $3.5 million project along the two-mile section, to be completed in the fall of 1998, includes drainage repairs, closing median openings and adding sidewalks and bike lanes on both sides of the road.

Military Trail from Southern Boulevard to Forest Hill Boulevard, West Palm Beach. A lane remains closed in both directions at all times from Summit Boulevard to Forest Hill Boulevard. Completion of the $3.7 million project to repair drainage and close several median openings is expected this fall.

Royal Park (Middle) Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway, West Palm Beach to Palm Beach. A lane will be closed periodically 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Workers are performing a major $2.9 million renovation of the bridge.
