Fresh from celebrating its 25th anniversary, Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece franchise is going strong in 2023 with the release of One Piece Odyssey on PC and consoles, as well as an entirely new manga arc.

But it doesn’t end there. Die-hard One Piece fans in Malaysia can rejoice because the One Piece “The Great Era of Piracy” Exhibition will be making its way to Genting Highlands next month. Following the end of the Hong Kong leg of the Asia Tour in January, Malaysian fans can expect the same pirate fun in March.

This event is an interactive and immersive exhibit that recreates famous scenes from Monkey D. Luffy's adventures throughout the manga’s 25 years of publication. This will be a memorable walk down memory lane for longtime One Piece fans for sure.

The exhibition features ten large statues of characters on display in a huge venue of over 2,000 square meters, with 21 thematic zones based on iconic scenes from the One Piece anime and manga.

These lifesize sculptures include the Pirate King himself, Gol D. Roger - in his infamous execution that kicks off the series - as well as Luffy’s battle against Charlotte Katakuri during the Whole Cake Island arc.

As guests trek through the exhibition, there will be an interactive augmented reality game they can engage with to collect points and win exciting prizes. There are also mini carnival games for even more One Piece rewards.

The entire exhibition will take between 45 and 90 minutes to complete, with the exhibition ending with an exclusive pop-up store that will be selling limited edition merchandise like T-shirts and soft toys.

The One Piece “The Great Era of Piracy” Exhibition will be held at the Pavilion area of Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park at Resorts World Genting. The exhibition will be held from March 23 to May 8, 2023.

Early bird tickets are now available for sale until March 16. Interested parties can grab their tickets right here.
