Chambers and Elliott gave birth to their first child a year after their marriage on March 17, 1993. They named their daughter, Stephanie Elliot.

After accumulating quite a wealth, Nanci and David remarried in a proper wedding ceremony in Santa Barabara, California, on June 26, 1999. Their daughter, Stephanie was the flower girl.

Both Canadian born actors then became an official American citizen.
