Ivan Gregory Obituary, Death On Saturday, October 29, 2005, in North Kansas City Hospital, Ivan Gregory, 70, of Trimble, Missouri, went away. He spent his formative years in Warsaw, Missouri, the town where he was born to parents Charles Franklin and Nora Emma Gregory on September 1, 1935. Ivan subsequently gave his life for his nation in the Korean War as an American soldier. He resided in California upon his honourable discharge.

His marriage to Beverly Bacon took place on August 13, 1971. Following their nuptials, they settled down near Trimble. Before retiring in 2000 from John Rohrer Construction, Ivan was a carpenter for a number of Kansas City-area construction firms, including Drexel Noble Construction. Carpenters Union Local 777 was his membership. John Gregory, Keith Gregory, his parents, his first wife Carole, two brothers, Herbert and Loren Gregory, a baby sister, Lenora, a sister, Mary Weaver, and a great-grandson, Silas Einstein, all died before him.

His wife Beverly of the home and their children Brenda Carole Adams of Riva, Md., Robin Kuykendall and Connie Gregory of Saugus, Ca., Brett Gregory of Phelan, Ca., Rick Gregory of Gower, Mo., Brenda King and Shirley Price of Gower, Mo., thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, sisters Barbara West of Nelson, Mo., Wanda Hagerman of Walnut Grove, Mo., Ada Ashlock of Humansville, Mo., Marjorie Burlinggame of Columbus, Ks., Nettie Dover of Humansville, Mo., Roselma Collins of Nampa, Idaho, Norma Morosco of Simi Valley, Ca., and a slew of nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends, are also surviving.

The funeral will be held at the Hixson-Klein Funeral Home in Smithville, Missouri at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 31, 2005. Funeral services will be held at Reed Cemetery in Trimble, Missouri, with military honours. VISITATION: This evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Smithville funeral home.
