As one of the most requested features among PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS players, night mode arrived on PUBG mobile to a great deal of fanfare. Here is how to play night mode in PUBG mobile.
PUBG mobile update 0.9.0 hit phones Oct. 16, and developer Tencent included the first night mode to reach any platform. Players can access the new mode by luck, as any game has a chance to load in night mode instead of day. It's more common during a real-world night in whatever region a player lives and has additionally had its occurrence rate bumped the closer we get to Halloween.
In any given game, if the sky is clear of clouds and a blue and pink hue rises over the lobby, that game will load in night mode. It can be frustrating to not have exact control over playing in this new mode, but at least mobile players are able to access it in the first place.
PUBG Corp has yet to add night mode to either of the platforms it develops for, though a leak of the upcoming snow map indicated it might be on its way to PUBG PC at least.
