Outbreak Perfected Catalyst is truly a testament to how far a player is willing to go to get elusive weapons in Destiny 2. Many Destiny 2 veterans will have already collected the Outbreak Perfected from Mithrax after completing the Fallen Transponder quest. However, you aren't quite finished with the weapon yet; you must earn the Catalyst to power up the weapon even more.
Here is how to earn the Outbreak Perfected Catalyst.
Outbreak Perfected Catalyst: How to Earn
Destiny 2 players are no strangers to taking on ridiculously difficult tasks for the sake of obtaining rare items. Getting the Outbreak Perfected Catalyst is one of those tasks.
In order to obtain it, you must complete the Heroic version of the Zero Hour mission. You can gain access to the Heroic version of the mission after completing it normally for the first time, after which the Heroic version will become accessible through a node next to the Farm.
The main twist with the Heroic version of Zero Hour is that not only is the difficulty is ramped up, but the route of the mission also changes. Alongside a recommended team of 680 level players, you only have 20 minutes to complete the mission.
In order to more easily beat this mission, it is recommended that at least one member on your team equip the Arbalest in order to easily defeat the shielded Fallen that will attack during the battle sections, with the other slots covering all of the elements to deal with all the other shields.
The Outbreak Perfected Catalyst is rewarded after you defeat the final boss of the mission.
