Dave back in the year 2016 joined Texas Rangers Baseball Club stationed in Texas, Arlington. Before joining the Texas Rangers, Dave served for the San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles, and Houston Astros. His baseball proficiency includes minor league stops with the independent Brockton Rox (2005), Triple-A Iowa Cubs (2000–2004), Single-A Charleston RiverDogs (1999), and independent Sonoma County Crushers (1995–1998).
He was exchanged on April 20, 2000, from the minor league Charleston RiverDogs to the independent league St. Paul Saints according to a story issue of Sports Illustrated. However, before reporting to his new club, Dave took a job with the Iowa Cubs. In 2003, Raymond served for the Giants Orioles as a fill-in announcer.
