The Broward League of Cities is giving four $1,000 Scholarships for Government Studies to Broward high school seniors in public schools. The scholarships are for students who plan to major in public administration, political science or another government-related field in college.
Applications are due Friday. Applicants must be available for March 30 interviews, write an essay, include two letters of recommendation and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. For more information on applying, go to
