While we still don’t have a set release date for Overwatch 2 just yet, select participants can now jump into the closed PvP beta to check out some of the big changes that are coming to the game. Even for those who weren’t selected, Blizzard has announced that players will be able to gain access to the beta via Twitch drops. Before you jump in, though, here’s a list of all new characters in Overwatch 2.

New Character Sojourn in Overwatch 2

We’ll cut to the chase; there’s really only one new character in Overwatch 2, and that’s Sojourn, who was announced back when the game was first unveiled. She’s a DPS character with a really fun kit to check out, and is quickly proving to be a great character to start with even if you’re new to the DPS role.

It’s entirely possible that Blizzard will announce more new characters before the game’s launch, and we’ll update this article if that happens. It’s also likely that they’ll be adding more faces to the roster even after launch.

Returning Characters

Some characters have received major hauls, too; for instance, Doomfist is now a Tank instead of DPS, and characters like Orisa and Bastion have also received significant changes in their move sets.
